European Fire Safety Week 2021

We sincerely thank all EuroFSA partners and speakers who contributed to the organization and success of the third edition of the European Fire Safety Week (EUFSW). We also thank all the participants who we hope found the events of EUFSW21 worthwhile and inspiring.

This already third edition of the EUFSW was fully devoted to the implementation of the European Fire Safety Action Plan. Like in previous editions, together with the leading experts, Members of the European Parliament and European Commission officials important topics focused on improving fire safety in residential buildings were discussed.

The recommendations and conclusions gathered from the experts and policy makers contributing to the EUFSW21 were transformed into concrete proposal of solutions and amendments to the EU regulatory files: Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, Energy Efficiency Directive and Social Climate Fund.

Overall, the webinars attracted over 650 participants and we were honored to be heavily supported by Members of the European Parliament Maria da Graça Carvalho (Portugal), Sean Kelly (Ireland), Ádám Kósa (Hungary), Carlos Zorrinho (Portugal) and Zeljana Zovko.
